Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years general nursing experience. Occupational Health experience preferred. Other Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment required.

Position Purpose:

Provide Occupational Health Care Services according to the Gulfstream Medical Program. Coordinate medical services required. for the safety and proper placement of employees, the treatment of work-related illnesses and injuries, and approved industrial preventative medical programs under direction of Occupational Health RN.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Develop professional rapport with employees and management.
2. Promote and facilitate continuity of care.
3. Maintain medical records in professional and confidential manner.
4. Provide superior nursing care in a professional manner using all available resources.

Additional Functions:

1. Provides for the timely treatment of work-related injuries. .
2. Administer audiometric and pulmonary function tests and keep equipment in calibration. .
3. Maintain appropriate inventories of medical and first aid supplies safely and securely, and ensures that all required. licenses are up to date. .
4. Administer the collection and processing of Corporate and FAA alcohol and drug program. .
5. Administrative and other duties as assigned by Occupational Health RN. .

Perform other duties as assigned.
