Lead Instructional Systems Designer

CACI is seeking a motivated and collaborative Lead Instructional System Designer (ISD) to share in our passion for creating innovative learning solutions for our Navy clients.
You’ll lead a team of talented professionals employing innovative instructional design concepts and creating training content under the Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning program.
You’ll guide a team of instructional designers in the development of Lesson Design Strategies (LDSs), lesson plans, training guides, and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) using a systematic approach, adult learning theories, and industry best practices for instructional design.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design meetings with ISDs, media developers, and SMEs.
- Manage team assignments.
- Research and gather missing content.
- Lead meetings with the customer and subject matt er experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content.
- Format and edit documents and ensure they are meeting design standards.
- Review Government Furnished Information.
- Support Train the Trainer/Pilot requirements and other facilitator support forums.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Systems Design, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Instructional Technology, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in development of Instructional Curriculum.
- Prior experience working on Sailor 2025 RRL Projects and leading teams.
- Knowledge of the Navy ‘s Practical Applications of Learning Science (PALS).
- Experience in AIM CPM/LOM.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Active Secret security clearance.
