Summary

Are you an inventive think-outside-the-box type who also loves to organize, troubleshoot, and work with people? In this role, your passion for learning will support our Squad in two ways.  The first is organizing, maintaining, managing, troubleshooting, and reporting on learning experiences in MOD U (Learning Management System). Secondly, you will get those inventive juices flowing by developing initiatives to improve and increase learner engagement on the LMS platform (MOD U).

Key Responsibilities

Be the Face:

Be the person behind the system, the mastermind.  Own the intake process for identified issues/questions and support stakeholder/user needs related to training, educating, and improving. Communicate and report out metrics, success criteria, and progression of the MOD U platform.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact, consultant, adviser, and partner to the Learning Management Functional Owners.
  • Train team members (as needed), answer questions, contribute to and maintain FAQs, and serve as point of escalation for support issues, which may include coordination with internal cross functional teams, stakeholders, LMS vendor, and other vendor support services.
  • Drive day-to-day system administration, deliverables, and business process workflow for MOD U. This includes user profiles, assignment rules, and program/curricula details.
  • Gather and document requirements, secure testing sign-off from functional owners.
  • Assist in the ongoing evaluation effort of our training programs and implement quality and efficiency improvement measures including new approaches and options to increase learner engagement and utilization of the Learning Management platform.
  • Develop and provide reports that are concise and actionable for organizational use, and consult with stakeholders on LMS options to help support training goals and learner outcomes.
  • Maintain validity and accuracy of course completion process and records.
  • Maintain and define best practices for LMS Admin workflows globally, and document operational procedures.
  • Seek constant improvement, stay updated with new technologies, platforms, process improvement, delivery techniques, and take initiative to identify and implement system and/or process improvements to support business targets.

Be the fix

Go hands on, and ensure the platform is user-friendly and functioning consistently. Own the deep dive into system issues, SCORM/content file problems, and anything stopping the Squad from getting the training they need. Be proactive for problem solving (before the fix is needed!) and learn from the identified issues over time and implement solves to ensure we do not experience repeated issues.

  • Be on point for (and manage through) issues as they are discovered. Serve as a point of escalation for training email inbox inquiries, Ad Hoc requests from stakeholders, course/completion issues and errors, assignment profile issues, and reporting questions.
  • Proactively identify and address potential problems using metrics, or manually before they become setbacks, and effectively communicate any necessary changes to the process.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for users regarding the LMS, accessing courses, and resolves issues relating to system functionality or software.
  • Troubleshoot learning path and course accessibility issues as needed.
  • Learn from system issues, outages, and problems to suggest and implement future improvements or mitigations.
