Job Description
Position Summary:
Touchstone Energy provides marketing, communications and member services support to our nearly 700 member cooperatives. Through research on member satisfaction and engagement; creative assets like videos, ads and social media libraries; customer service training and education; and a full service web development team, we help cooperatives build stronger relationships with their member-owners.
This position will support Touchstone Energy through providing administrative, operational, and member‑support across both the Research Program and governance/organizational Programs. This position is eligible for NRECA’s hybrid schedule which allows flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per/week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes and tracks invoices for all non‑dues revenue across Touchstone Energy, including serving as a primary contact for members regarding their invoices and liaising with Finance (Accounts Payable/Receivable).
- Coordinates and schedules meetings and committee activities for team members and leadership, including periodic support for leadership scheduling needs.
- Maintains and updates electronic and physical filing systems; manages office supplies, inventory, equipment, and incoming/outgoing mail.
- Processes orders and supports fulfillment of membership materials and research program deliverables.
- Sends member‑requested research reports and materials and facilitates communication with members regarding research activities and requests.
- Assists with distributing national research content and materials to cooperative members and their internal teams.
- Prepares, formats, and distributes meeting agendas, memos, reports, dashboards, and other documents for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintains and updates contact lists, database records, and shared information repositories.
- Coordinates committee schedules, agendas, and content within the leadership portal, ensuring materials are current and accessible.
- Contributes to the development and maintenance of monthly dashboards and project management systems in Monday.com.
- Assists with preparing regularly scheduled reports and providing general administrative support across both program areas and broader organizational needs.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in administrative support
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (as demonstrated by prior work experience):
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and basic financial procedures, including invoice preparation, tracking, and coordination with Finance and AP/AR teams.
- Knowledge of office administration practices, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and materials preparation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to adjust messaging and style based on audience.
- Ability to work independently and when needed, to liaise with technical support and executive management.
- Ability to work across platforms (PC and Mac) and with various presentation devices (projector, monitor, interactive touch screen).
- Ability to define issues, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and apply to work environment.
- Ability to learn and utilize project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Monday.com and Jira.
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse membership, employees and/or vendors in a clear and precise manner.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) and to operate various office equipment such as personal computer, copier, printer, or other job-related equipment.
- Ability to provide service excellence by building relationships, being resourceful, responsive and respectful.
- Ability to report to the office when required.

Essential Physical Requirements:
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading.
