QA and Safety Field Trainer

Position Overview:

The QA/Field trainer/Safety is an extremely important role in the field. You will need to be comfortable talking in front of groups of people. You will need knowledge of every aspect of our work and culture. You will need to be passionate and excited to teach everyone our vision and expectations. You will ensure we are putting out only the best product, going into the field to show hands-on the best practices. You will be responsible for making sure that everyone is provided with the same training, standards, and expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of safety trainings and a culture of safe work practices
• Training new hires on best practices and SOPs established by V3
• Ensuring quality workmanship is being delivered on all installations
• Excellent communication with team members and customers
• Creating new training materials
• Going out into the field to work on quality improvement
• Going out to the field to inspect and audit the jobs that have recently been completed
• Review failed jobs and service cases to see where training is needed
• Going out into the field to check that proper safety procedures are being followed

Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years experience in the solar industry or construction
• Minimum 3 years experience in training
• Must be familiar with construction practices that apply to residential solar and roofing
• Must know how to install and electrically connect a solar system and battery on a residential home. (Prior Install Experience a plus)
• Must be self-driven and able to work under pressure
• Must be comfortable talking in a group of people
• You MUST be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, MUST have 6AM - 5PM availability
