Job Description: 

AFS is seeking a System Engineer to be part of a team of highly qualified professionals that provide expertise in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Systems Engineering.

The Work:

• Assess and calculate the technical features of a project plan to ensure that the systems engineering procedures are operating correctly
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Participate in the modernization and design of information and operational support systems
• Assist the customer in evaluating existing systems and provide technical direction in conjunction with the Cloud Solution Architects
• Ensure a rapid response to any technical issues
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Here's what you need: 

• Satisfaction of 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (upon start date)
• One or more of the following certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
  • Master Certified Electronics Technician (CETma)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field AND 4+ years of relevant experience; OR, in lieu of a degree, 8+ years of relevant experience
• Willingness to travel (CONUS) up to 25%
• Willingness to work onsite (neither Remote not Hybrid arrangements are possible with this role)

Bonus points if you have: 

• 3+ years leadership experience, especially in a Customer Facing role
• 3+ years of experience with air-gapped cloud
• 3+ years of Project Management or Solution Delivery experience
• Experience with Azure or other cloud environments
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or Configuration as Code (CaC)
• Azure certifications:
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Azure Administrator Associate
  • Azure Fundamentals

Security Clearance:

• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.   
 
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role:  
California: $122,600 - $234,900
Colorado: $122,600 - $202,900
New York: $113,500 - $234,900
Washington: $130,500 - $215,900
