Position Summary
We are seeking to add an experienced Director of Hardware Engineering to our world-class Gaming Systems Team, based in Cleveland, Ohio. This position is integral to the development and successful launch of new and exciting electronic gaming products and will report to the Engineer, Hardware Director – Senior.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee all mechanical hardware design and engineering activities.
- Lead a team of mechanical Engineers and Designers.
- Work with outside suppliers to acquire, design and build first class gaming hardware.
- Oversite of multiple projects and project teams, with various stake holders.
- Develop top talent on your team
- Identifies and develops strategic policies and operational directives/standards for the hardware design team.
Requirements
Experience and Education
- ‘Minimum 8-10 years of experience in new product design and engineering in the Casino Gaming Industry.
- Demonstrated success managing large new product development teams. Ability to work independently and oversee the design of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field; or equivalent experience required.
