Senior Logistics Analyst, Wholesale Transportation

Fanatics Commerce is looking for a strategic and enthusiastic leader to fill the position of Sr Transportation Analyst.  This is a vital role, responsible for the bulk movement of freight from global factories, into multiple Warehouse facilities throughout North America. The Sr. Analyst will use their international expertise to implement cost savings, improve efficiency, and recommend technology enhancements.    

WHAT IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE: 

• Oversee the development and distribution of inbound forecast materials.
• Communicate and maintain inbound container status, utilizing information from internal and external data platforms
• Handle communication with all necessary parties regarding shipments delayed in-transit and status thereof. 
• Communicate and maintain inbound container status, utilizing information from internal and external data platforms
• Process delivery orders and / or work orders directing cargo to the final destination as needed.
• Assist with carrier onboarding including communications; updating and distributing routing guides & transit matrix; as well as capturing preferred sailing details.
• Work with Asia and LATAM Hubs, to keep standard operating procedures accurate and up to date.
• Ability to recognize challenges and turn them into opportunities.
• Training and knowledge share with other teammates to build a strong department foundation.
• Ability to transition spreadsheet data into meaningful information and translate into metrics.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

• A self-starter with a positive attitude
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in international logistics or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain activities, including Import Container and Air Freight
• Experience using a Transportation Management system. 
• Empowers the team to proactively implement effective change.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Organized and detail orientated.
• Creative thinker that can easily adapt in an ever-changing environment.
• Collaborative problem solver with the ability to implement long term strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics; Supply Chain; or a related field preferred.
