Responsibilities

Summary: Regrind scrap parts for recycle or sale.

 

  • Make and line Gaylord’s.
  • Properly label Gaylord’s according to material type and record their weight.
  • Operate hydraulic dump and keep conveyors running smoothly.
  • Keep entire grinder area swept and cleaned.
  • Implement company rules including Good Manufacturing Practices, (HACCP) and safety.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of a team environment.
  • Must Know the Quality Policy and apply it to working practices.
  • Purpose and procedures for ISO and AIB
  • Inputting regrind into inventory using  DSI/MEP functions
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

General Education Degree (GED) and/or minimum 1 year equivalent of on-the-job training. 

 

Language Skills: 

Must have the ability to speak in simple sentences.

 

Mathematical Skills: 

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal and written instructions.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

 

Additional Info

Job details: 

Starting Pay:  $19.00/Hr. 

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 2nd Mon-Friday 3:00PM -11:30PM (plus $1.50/Hr Shift Diff.)

May require some weekend overtime
