JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Epic Beaker Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of clinical pathology workflows and demonstrate experience working with Epic Beaker. While Epic Beaker certification is preferred, it is not a requirement at the time of hire.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide analytical support for the clinical pathology department, leveraging Epic Beaker
- Collaborate with clinical staff to understand their needs and translate those needs into effective analytical solutions within Epic Beaker.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation processes related to Epic Beaker.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of clinical pathology
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed
EXPERIENCE
Required
- 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules.
Preferred
- Epic Beaker Systems Analyst experience
- 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry
SKILLS
- Ability to handle analysis, design, system configuration and testing tasks at basic to moderate levels of complexity
- Excellent customer service skills
- Uses critical thinking skills for assigned tasks
- Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal teamwork.
- Strong organizational skills in managing priorities
- Demonstrates knowledge of project management principles as they relate to assigned tasks

- 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of an Associate's Degree

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or relevant experience.
