SALARY RANGE
$38,264.07 - $41,990.52 Annually $1,471.69 - $1,615.02 Bi-weekly
Position Summary
This is a professional position, who serves as the primary connection between the region and State Office, supporting statewide employment initiatives. This role leads the region’s Supported Employment Initiative by fostering partnerships with schools, employers, and community organizations to expand pathways to competitive integrated employment at or above minimum wage for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Supported Employment (SE) Liaison provides oversight of employment programs such as the Employment Enhancement Program (EEP), coordinates provider trainings and quarterly meetings, coordinates transition efforts between APD and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation to avoid duplication of services and ensure smooth transition between the two agencies, ensures compliance with State Office policies and iBudget guidelines, and delivers technical assistance to staff and providers. By maintaining accurate data, facilitating approved training, and promoting best practices, the SE Liaison helps advance meaningful employment opportunities and improved quality of life outcomes for clients.
The Work You Will Do
Works directly with the State Office in Tallahassee regarding surveys, reports and providing input for the creation of statewide programs, policies and procedures. Participates in regularly scheduled statewide employment calls with State Office. Updates preenrollment client employment data in iConnect following existing protocols established by the State Office employment leads.
