Get onboard the Collins Aerospace MPC team. This role is onsite, in Rockford, IL.
What You Will Do:
- You will assist and create tooling and fixturing designs by use of SolidWorks, Teamcenter, NX, and AutoCAD.
- You will use 3D printing technology to create shadow boards, fixture/tools & support operations day to day need.
- You will be revising, creating, and maintaining manufacturing work instructions.
- You will support implementation of new manufacturing equipment, tools, and processes and evaluate feasibility.
- You will participate in Lean events pertaining to production processes.
What You Will Learn:
- Develop key management and team skills with ownership over daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
- You will learn how to perform industrial engineering evaluations of production standards.
- You will directly work with the Quality engineers, Supply Chain Managers, Design Engineering, Industrial Engineers, Value Stream leadership, and Plant Operations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, Operations, Aerospace or an applicable discipline.
- Solid analytical problem-solving skills are extremely valuable.
- Willingness to learn and react in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with a modeling software (i.e., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX).
