Job Description

For our team in Oss we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate for an Analytical Physical position as (Associate) Specialist Extraneous Matter Analysis.

You will be responsible for:

• Widely applicable: participating in the lab, but also being able to delve into the subject matter.
• Writing of reports
• Follow up on project timelines and deliverables
• Participation in cross-functional project teams
• Supports, when applicable, in chemical management, 5S tasks, and keeping the lab in good condition

Qualifications

• BSc degree in analytical chemistry, biochemistry or related science;
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in analytical development and/or validation (MBO with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience);
• Experience with at least FTIR and/or SEM-EDX
• Experience with other solid state characterization techniques such as XRPD, Raman, TA, DSC, DVS is a pre;
• Good documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team
• Ability to learn new techniques and multitask
• Good sense of quality
• Good technical, communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and proven performance record
• Abe to work with priorities, be flexible, real team player
• Good sense of language, being fluent in both in English and Dutch
