Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Technician

Korean Women's Association (KWA) is seeking a Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Technician in Lakewood, WA. The Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Tech is responsible for general maintenance, janitorial duties, landscaping, and minor repairs. Part time position working 25 hours per week. Key Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Tech Responsibilities:

Performs daily cleaning and janitorial duties in and around the facility. (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, trash removal)

Conduct routine landscaping by maintaining grounds, including mowing, weed control, trimming and yard cleanup.

Inspects and maintains tools, equipment and grounds.

Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure all work areas comply with safety and cleanliness standards.

Assist with snow removal or seasonal property upkeep as needed.

Monitor inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Preforms other related tasks as assigned. 

Attend all meetings and trainings as required. 

 

Requirements:

Must pass criminal history and reference checks

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Good time management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others

Strong problem- solving skills and proactive attitude

Valid drivers license preferred

Basic knowledge of hand power tools

Working knowledge of landscaping janitorial duties

 

Experience and skills:

3 years of experience preferred.

 

Compensation & Benefits: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour. DOE. Part Time. Apply at kwacares.org/careers
