Job Description

• Lead process optimization and process improvements within the Blackline application and the standard balance sheet validation process within the Accounting Process Excellence team
• Supports the development of global standards and best practices to validate different general ledger accounts within the balance sheet financial statement
• Lead discussions with Bosch end-users and regional key users to collect feedback on the standard process and application;
• Ensure the compliance of the application, based on internal and external regulations;
• Ensure all documentation for end-user guides and implementation guides are regularly updated, including the process landscape  and application documentation;
• Take responsibility of the running application and support the resolution of any errors or operational process issues for rolled-in entities in the productive environment;
• Works with limited supervision;
• Plans, coordinates, execute, checks, monitors, eliminates complex problems;
• Informs senior team member on a timely basis;
• Demonstrates increased knowledge of relations within financials;
• Manages low and moderately complex activities autonomous with limited guidance (and/or complex with support);
• Actively seeks and proposes solutions to overcome problems and implements where possible;
• Challenges the project team and works good together with the consultants;
• Proactively seeks for work and/or asks manager to help;
• Can handle difficult situations and/or knows when to seek help;
• Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with customers, (internal) vendors, co-workers and stakeholders;
• Reads, understands and applies the procedures from area of responsibility and other interdepartmental procedures, applicable within the company;
• Fulfils any other tasks related to area of responsibility, as requested by direct superior.

Qualifications

• Language: English B2 in writing and speaking;
• Master Diploma in Business, Economics, IT or similar;
• Strong communication and organizational skills;
• At least 2 years’ experience in a business process;
• Experience in accounting with general knowledge of General Ledger Accounting and Financial Statements;
• Operational experience with ERP (SAP- FICO Module) and financial information systems;
• Experience in SAP processes and Data Security;
• Blackline experience is a plus;
• Team oriented;
• Ability to delegate tasks and mentor more inexperienced associates in their tasks and activities;
• Experience in working in international teams;
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers, (internal) vendors, co-workers and stakeholders;
• Flexibility, good problem solving capacity;
• Willingness to travel (if needed for a project);
• Orientation on goals, initiative, self-driven.
