General/Restroom Cleaner - Part Time - Hours Vary

Pay Rate - $15.00 an hour

BASIC FUNCTION

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking to hire General/Restroom Cleaners. The General/Restroom Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting, and waste/trash disposal of an assigned area. The General/Restroom Cleaner is a team member assigned to cleaning areas such as betting areas, seating, ramps, stairways, halls, floors, parking lots, building exterior, building interior, building entrances, assigned restrooms, and replenishing of supplies.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP

The General/Restroom Cleaner reports to the Team Leader or Shift Supervisor and receives work assignments from the same.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES

• Remove trash and debris from the assigned work area.
• Sweep, blow, vacuum, or dust mop debris from assigned areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and re-line; remove trash to the designed location.
• Dust or wipe railing, escalators, seats, walls, and doors as directed.
• Clean glass.
• Wipe and disinfect drinking fountains and telephones.
• Vacuum or sweep floor mats and carpets.
• Sweep and mop areas assigned.
• Replenish paper towels, toilet seat covers, toilet tissue, feminine hygiene products and refill the soap containers.
• Clean and disinfect sinks and counters. Use a brush to remove soil from inside fixtures.
• Polish chrome and stainless steel fixtures.
• Clean mirrors to remove all splashes, prints, and soil
• Dust partition tops, clean and disinfect partition walls. Spot clean walls and doors.
• Damp mop floor with germicidal solution.
• Place “Wet Floor” Sign at entrance(s) while the floor is drying to prevent slips and falls.
• Report all leaks or stopped-up toilets and urinals to the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Report accidents, injuries, safety, or maintenance concerns immediately.
• Maintain equipment and storage areas in good condition.
• Complete all other duties as directed by the Team Leader/Supervisor.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

• Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.

• Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.

• Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.

• Reliable Transportation.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

• Reliable transportation is a must
