Role description:

Apply for an opportunity to join a security-first company as an early member of our growing Information Security team here at SafeBase. With a headcount representing 10% of the team, security plays a unique role in helping customers win deals, collaborating with the Product team on new features, and of course maintaining a top tier security program. This is an entry-level role for an individual that is highly motivated and interested in learning about security across various industries and company types.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Complete security questionnaires for enterprise customers
• Serve in a unique customer success role to assist customers' security teams with learning security best practices
• Continuously monitor the organization for policy enforcement
• Opportunity to write information security related blog posts for SafeBase
• Respond to security incidents as they arise

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 1+ years of relevant work experience
• You are passionate about security
• You have strong knowledge of security concepts, with compliance knowledge as a plus
• You are naturally curious, and want to understand how security contributes to an organization’s success
• Basic understanding of risk management
• Must be on Central or Eastern Time Zone

Nice to haves:

• Prior experience in an IT role
• Contributions to open source security projects
• Personal security blog or social media presence with insightful content

Salary: $55,000 - $80,000
