Senior Data BI Engineer

Short Description

Our customer takes the leading position in advanced data. We are looking for PowerBI Engineer team for project that pertains to the marketing and sales area. The goal of the project is analyzing, prediction and optimization of revenue growth management. 

Qualifications

•    Production experience with PowerBI in a data-specific role with a solid knowledge of database management, data modeling, business intelligence, SQL querying, data warehousing, and online analytical processing (OLAP)
•    Be experienced in tools and systems as Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX
•    The ability to drill down data and visualize it in the best possible way through charts, reports, or dashboards.
•    Tends to engineering excellence and getting things done.
•    Team working experience in Agile/Scrum
•    Good communication and collaboration skills.
•    At least basic skills in C# and C# PowerBI/SSAS libraries

Job Responsibilities

•    Build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI
•    Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights
•    Optimize performance of existing reporting and keep the optimization approach for the new reports as well
•    Improve reports from usability perspective (filters, etc)
•    Create and update functional reporting (both new and existing reports)
•    Take part in requirements analyzes, research implementation ways and possibilities.
•    Analyze and estimate implementation efforts.
•    Ensures that assigned area/areas are delivered within set deadlines and required quality objectives. 
•    Responsible for resolving crisis situations within his/her areas of responsibility
•    Continuously collaborate with stakeholders.
•    Report about current status, technical and other risks.
