PA/NP - Psychiatry - Grand Rapids, MI

Corewell Health’s Department of Behavioral Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking to add a full-time Psychiatry APP (NP or PA-C) who possesses strong clinical skills and a patient-first approach to care to join our team. The ideal candidate has specific training and experience treating psychiatry patients.

• Majority outpatient practice with an inpatient rotation on the Butterworth and Blodgett Hospital Psychiatry consult service

• Beautiful ambulatory clinic with a team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychotherapists

• 60-minute new evaluations and 30-minute return visits

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner: 

Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission 

Preferred Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Preferred relevant clinical experience 

Preferred previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a provider

LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan  

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)  

Physician Assistant: 

Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program 

Preferred relevant clinical experience 

Preferred previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a provider

LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan 

CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
