The $26.89 annual/hourly starting pay is structured to be competitive and may extend up to the $33.48 midpoint of the annual range, reflecting our commitment to offering competitive compensation to qualified candidates.

As our new Marketing Coordinator, we know you will be successful in this role because you are:

- You’re flexible, dependable, and ready to support the work when it happens – You adapt to changing needs, interpret business and technical information accurately, and are comfortable working a non-standard schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Marketing Manager in all aspects of in-house media buying agency including but not limited to ad fulfillment, advertising trafficking, organization of current plans and proposals, advertising analytics, and serve as secondary contact for media companies.
- Coordinate overall sponsorship goals which include but not limited to: creating sponsorship opportunities and proposals utilizing marketing assets; creating sponsor target lists; producing copy and layout for sponsorship proposals and sponsorship recaps; take the lead in preparing and presenting select sponsorship proposals, as assigned; sponsorship contracts and invoicing.
- Lead planning and execution of select marketing and promotional events for the zoo.
- Participate in event planning, including assistance in facilitating needs generated by sponsors and promotional partners. Creating load-in instructions and being point person for on-ground activation scheduling.
- Coordinate sponsor fulfillment including but not limited to any on grounds activations and execution and managing sponsor approval of advertising assets and promotional collateral.
- Assist in producing information regarding events and promotions to ensure consistent messaging for press releases, website, ticketing POS, gate fliers, social media, or other marketing promotions collateral.
- Support Marketing department for marketing events and promotions regarding sponsorship stewardship from planning to onsite execution, including, but not limited to Tasting Flight, ZooTunes, OktoBEARfest, All You Can Zoo, Pumpkin Bash and WildLanterns.
- Assist in audience research and analysis of zoo audiences for marketing purposes when needed.
- Organize and store marketing equipment and promotional supplies as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field;
- 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
