GDIT has an opportunity for a Data Quality Analyst, who will be a full-time member of the FPLS IV&V/DQ team, conducting data quality analysis Office of Child Support Services’ expanded Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS). The successful candidate will be capable of applying data quality review criteria and producing data quality reports describing the criteria used to evaluate the data, problems noted, and recommended solutions for data correction and data quality improvement. The data to be reviewed may be maintained on mainframe systems, as well as Internet (Cloud) and PC-based platforms.
*This position is fully remote, must live within commuting distance*
Responsibilities:
Conduct data quality analysis and/or data quality reviews
Write, edit and proofread technical and procedural documents, including reports
Interface effectively with the customer and peers across the internal, operations, and security teams
Work independently within a quickly changing environment with project deadlines
Define and schedule tasks to support multiple projects
Required Skills:
2+ years of experience in Python
BS in Computer Science or Information Systems, plus 2+ years' experience (with at least 2 years specialized Python experience) OR 4 years' of experience in lieu of BS
Ability to develop innovative solutions and collaborates on projects and sharing professional experiences (previous and new) to develop innovative solutions
Knowledge of AWS cloud services e.g., Athena & S3
Ability to write, edit and proofread technical and procedural documents, including reports
Working with Industry Standard Life-Cycle Methodologies and Processes, including developing, analyzing and/or reviewing system requirements
Knowledge of formal and informal Quality Assurance methods such as internal peer reviews and structured walk-throughs
Experience defining and scheduling tasks to support multiple projects
Databases, SQL (comfortable with interacting with various dialects of SQL)
Pandas, PySpark, etc.

The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
