We are seeking an Associate Administrator - Clinical for the Department of Radiology who will oversee all responsibilities on the JHU operation side. They will have a strong understanding of radiology clinical and research endeavors. They will assist leadership with the financial development of the department, and they will oversee all administrative functions.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- In collaboration with department leadership and clinical teams, oversee the administrative and financial development of the Department.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop disease specific proton therapy pathways.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop benchmark treatment protocols and to develop new and innovative treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop training programs for the integration of proton therapy into the service.
- Collaborate with Department leadership for the recruitment of disease specific proton therapy faculty.
- Collaborate with Department leadership to develop clinical support structures for proton therapy disease specific programs
- Collaborate with Department leadership to advance disease specific referral relationships and pathways.
- Collaborate with, Department leadership, and other clinical partners to develop international outreach efforts that foster patient referrals and strategic international partnerships.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure effective planning and implementation of clinical throughput, access, operations, quality assurance, and patient safety.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure effective planning and implementation of the integration activities.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure safe and effective access to Clinics for both patients and providers across local and external markets.
- Collaborate with leadership on patient centered programs such as patient satisfaction, patient advisory, patient support programs, and employee engagement.
Research Mission
- In collaboration with leadership and research teams, oversee the administrative and financial development of the Strategic program planning.
- Collaborate with leadership and faculty to develop the translational research program.
- Collaborate with clinical faculty to develop a technology-based research program.
Financial Leadership
- In collaboration with leadership and research teams, oversee the administrative and financial development of the Department.
- Collaborate with Department Finance teams in business planning and business accountability programs.
- Collaborate with Department Finance teams to oversee financial and operational analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with Department leadership to evaluate faculty compensation plans with respect to the department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field.
- Seven years progressively responsible professional-level administrative and financial experience related to monetary or non-monetary resources of a department, center, or unit, including 2 years financial management experience (e.g., planning, directing, monitoring, organizing, and controlling monetary and non-monetary resources). Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Master's Degree in a related field may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: Min $97,200 - Max $170,200 Annually ($135,000 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
