Material Handler

• Accurately record stockroom gate issues to ensure correct inventory levels
• Use inventory computer system to look up part information
• Unload trucks and stock material in designated areas in a timely manner
• Maintain stockroom security
• Pull material kits
• Transport material from warehouse to production areas as needed
• Perform quarterly / yearly inventory

Responsible for assuring that production personnel have the proper material to prevent production downtime. Unload trucks, stock and issue material in a timely manner. Assist in pulling kits for production.

Education

High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) preferred.

Experience

6 months experience preferred

Certificates, Licenses or Registrations

Forklift experience, Driver license and Microsoft Office Knowledge preferred

Knowledge/Skills

Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints. Knowledge of basic math skills. Ability to solve problems in a variety of situations. Excellent communication skills.
