Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Technology/BIM Design Manager to join our growing Architecture team in our Tampa, FL office. We are seeking energetic and qualified candidates to help us grow our team and provide project management for our projects and teams.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in BIM and technology management for architectural projects. Expert knowledge in 2d and 3d modeling platforms primarily Auto Cad, Revit, Rhino, and similar.
- Demonstrated experience and passion for design and technology, utilizing skills for innovations and management approached through technology.
- Demonstrated experience in architecture design phases and related levels of development
- Solid experience and innovation in other visualization and modeling platforms such as Sketchup, Rhino, 3DMax, Grasshopper, and similar
- Champion for digital applications, transformations, and overall innovations for design delivery of our work.
- Capable of interfacing with multiple design teams and projects, providing the support and guidance as an active team member and knowledge resource
- Work with individual project teams to establish digital delivery project plans. Lead efforts to define and establish “standards” for digital delivery to garner efficiencies and quality.
- Capable of interfacing between US teams and International teams, to manage the interface and effective delivery of projects.
- Experience level capable to lead the BIM adoption and management through projects and may include other digital modeling and other digital modeling platforms to benefit our projects and teams.
- Partner with other firm technology leaders to establish digital and BIM standards and procedures.
- Develop efficient workflows and techniques to bring enhanced value to the design and production phases of projects – best practices.
- Passionate to learn and share digital innovations and potential applications. Lead periodic team sessions for knowledge-share and collaborations.
- Provide continued research and adoption of industry developments and practices. Lead educational efforts for teams.
- Develop and implement project tools and techniques to promote consistency, quality, and efficiencies as a practice.
- Familiar with digital applications to study energy, sun, climate, fenestration, or similar.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree plus 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Professional experience of management of BIM for design and construction document production.
- Previous Managerial experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- +8 years of relevant technology experience for job requirements
- Architecture Registration
- Significant experience in design and engineering through digital platforms

Offered rate of compensation (FL locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $80,000- $125,000.
