Digital Business & Technology Solutions High School Internship Program

Job Description:

We are excited to share the Digital, Business and Technology Solutions (DBTS) Technology High School Experience Program, a paid student internship program with Sun Life Financial from Monday, June 16th through Friday, June 27th at the Sun Life Kansas City office! This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in technology to learn more about what a career in the field would look like. 

The two-week program will be a hands-on opportunity for students to work in the Digital, Business and Technology (DBTS) sector of Sun Life. Working with a Mentor, Interns will spend most of their day completing projects and tasks that impact Sun Life’s day-to-day business. In addition, Interns will have the opportunity to connect with leaders across unique technology teams as well as participate in career development opportunities.  

Important notes: 

• This is an in-person opportunity in the Kansas City office, located at 2323 Grand Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64108. All interns must be able to be able to provide their own transportation to be in-office every day. 

• All interns will be paid at $20 an hour.

• Interns must be at least 16 years of age by Monday, June 16th.  

• The program will be a total of nine days, as Sun Life offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19th. 

Qualifications:

• Students must be actively enrolled in high school, currently completing either their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year.

• Students must be interested in learning about a career in technology.

• Students must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
