Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for our San Diego, CA office area. This role an also be hybrid. This role reports to the Program Executive.

This person will be responsible for but no limited to the following:

• Manages and directs the execution and delivery of the Program, including systems and procedures to support execution
• Manages AECOM support staff, as applicable, Consultants and Contractors involved in the program.  

Key responsibilities include:

• Day to day management and coordination of project work scope.
• Development of the Project Execution Plans.
• Routine site visits as needed.
• Resolving quality or technical disputes between Owner and Design / GC Firms.
• Development of cost estimates, budget, and management of risks.
• Assisting owner in development of the scope of work for RFPs (Design and Construction).
• Management of all projects and delivery of all necessary deliverables; including project scope definition, cost estimate, project execution plan and schedule.
• Stakeholder Management with Owner’s team, P&T Stakeholders, Design and General Contractors, onsite support services, regulatory entities, etc.
• Project Handover, O&M manuals, and Closeout.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Strong Project Management background / experience
• U.S. Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work

• Valid Driver’s License and must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review
