Exciting Internship Opportunity – EHS Specialist Intern in Raritan, NJ!

Join Labcorp’s 2026 Global Internship Program and take the first step toward a meaningful career in healthcare innovation! We’re looking for motivated students to be part of a dynamic 11-week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives.

Internship Details

  • Duration: 11 weeks, full-time

  • Dates of Internship: June 1, 2026 - August 14, 2026

  • Location: Raritan, NJ

  • Compensation:   Pay Range $19 – 22

    • All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

    • Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

  • Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2026 through June 2028 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

Internship Assignment Summary:

Accountable for administering Employee Health & Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programs by coordinating EHS training, performing chemical hazard assessments, and supporting EHS initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports safety programs, assist in conducting employee training and completing risk management assessments in the areas of safety, occupational health, and environmental management.

  • Cooperates in incident investigations root cause analysis, corrective actions, and closure.

  • Participate in EHS training programs and perform EHS training.

  • Assists in waste minimization practices under the direction of the EHS Management.

  • May provide proper chemical and regulated medical waste management

  • Lead or participate in facility EHS inspections.

  • Learns proper reporting requirements and helps in permit submissions.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in science or Technical Field

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local occupational safety industry regulations and guidelines (OSHA, EPA, L&
