What You Will Do

Leads assigned staff in performing business service activities and fitness activities including aquatics, childcare, and fitness.

 

1. Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.2. Supervise, facilities, programs and staff of fitness, childcare, and aquatics.3. Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.4. Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/or procedures.5. Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.6. Leads staff of Exercise Specialists, Personal Trainers, and Exercise Instructors.7. Maintains licences and certifications of staff, and ensures the use of best practices.8. Coordinates communication with Fitness Members and leads member service efforts.9. Responsible for executing membership growth plans.10. Serves as the operations expert for fitness software including monthly bankdraft.11. Maintains fitness equipment and coordinates repairs and service as needed.12. Leads membership engagement programming.

 

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Maintain all necessary credentialing for State Board of Cosmetology

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
