Job Details:

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
•    This position is responsible for filling in for absenteeism and assisting supervision in managing the area. In addition, this position is responsible for the training of new maintenance team members and assisting in the maintaining of equipment in the area.
•    This position requires following Lockout/Tagout, fall protection and confine space entry procedures.
•    Position requires pushing; pulling or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing ladders above 10 feet.
•    Position requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team.
•    Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years industrial refrigeration experience, or be a recent graduate from and industrial refrigeration program, or have 12 months industrial maintenance experience (Must list experience on application and/or in resume)
• Passing a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical and be recertified each year to maintain position
• Must be clean shaven in order to get a proper fit while using SCBA equipment

Rehire Criteria:

• Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days.
• Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire.
