Job Summary:   

Prairie Farms Dairy, Rockford operates as a dairy manufacturing plant and distribution center that covers the whole state of IL and some of the surrounding states. We make dairy products that are then distributed to retail outlets, warehouses, hospitals, correctional facilities, retirement homes, food service warehouses, schools, and colleges throughout Illinois. 

We are currently looking for a Route Accounting Clerk to join our team. If you are detail-oriented and a fast learner, this might be the perfect job for you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Handling invoices and billing
• Audit and reconciliation: Investigates over/shorts on load sheets and delivery tickets
• Will utilize AS400 System
• Settling individual sales
• Effectively utilize the time available to achieve results through prioritizing demands
• Maintains an air of professionalism and communicates effectively
• Demonstrates problem-solving and decision-making ability, as needed
• Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a willingness to learn
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Additional Responsibilities: Include, but are not limited to the following:

• DSD/ Beverage experience, is a plus
• Self-starter
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment preferred
• Take part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, position, and products
