JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State York Department of Athletics is seeking applications for an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach will report directly to the Head Coach.

Job Duties

  • Attending all practices and games and be flexible in scheduling.
  • Duties assigned by the head coach and may include but are not limited to skill instruction, practice drills, game day management, player management, assist in statistics, equipment management, team administrative responsibilities, etc.
  • Some overnight travel will be required. 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Prior coaching experience, preferably at the college level, or at a minimum at the high school level is preferred.
  • A Bachelor degree, though not required, is preferred. A High School Diploma or equivalent is.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
