Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and solutions-driven Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Analyst to support operations and reimbursement for high-cost biologic and specialty therapies. This role plays a critical part in optimizing revenue performance, improving payer outcomes, and ensuring accurate billing, coding, and reimbursement processes across the revenue cycle.
The ideal candidate understands the complexity of biologics, buy-and-bill models, specialty pharmacy workflows, revenue cycle operational workflows, payer policies, and infusion reimbursement. This individual thrives in data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
• Analyze end-to-end revenue cycle operations performance, including AR aging, denial rates, net collections, and reimbursement variances
• Identify revenue leakage trends and implement corrective action plans
• Monitor reimbursement performance for high-cost biologic and specialty therapies
• Evaluate payer coverage policies, prior authorization trends, and medical necessity requirements
• Track, analyze, and reduce denial patterns in supporting preventive resolutions for denial prevention and appeals optimization
• Review contracted rates and fee schedules to ensure accurate reimbursement
• Develop dashboards and reporting to support leadership decision-making
• Recommend and implement workflow improvements to reduce AR days and increase cash flow
• Partner cross-functionally with revenue cycle operations, contracting, clinical, and finance teams
• Maintain compliance with payer policies, regulatory updates, and industry standards
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field
• 5 or more years of experience in revenue cycle operations , reimbursement, or healthcare finance
• Strong understanding of:
◦ Buy-and-bill reimbursement models
◦ Revenue Cycle Management operations
◦ Prior authorization workflows
◦ Denials Management
◦ Medical necessity denials
◦ J-codes / HCPCS coding
◦ Commercial and government payer reimbursement
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with biologics, infusion services, oncology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, or specialty pharmacy and revenue cycle management.
