The opportunity
Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, our Software Strategy Group provides top-tier investment and acquisition guidance, strategy, and transaction advisory for the software sector. Every year we help hundreds of software companies and investors make crucial business decisions. On every engagement, you will work alongside our team of former CTOs and CEOs with deep software expertise to learn from the best.
Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Associate-Consultant with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Software Strategy Group, you will be responsible for leading workstreams and engagements, directly translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables. You will manage problem-solving and be the power behind the team’s analytical activities, serving as the key liaison between the engagement team, senior leaders, and our clients.
Skills and attributes for success

Develop business strategies using tools such as financial analysis, customer research, forecasting, and portfolio optimization.

Analyze transaction rationale and prospective deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction.

Manage workstreams and break down complex problems into manageable tasks for the team to contribute to solving together as a group.

Motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.

Develop, manage, and mentor junior team members.
To qualify for the role, you must have
-
Outstanding academic performance, with a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience.

Ability to make detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.

Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in a professional environment.

Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.

The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.

Our SSG team members are in the office ~3 days a week.
