Looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic Solution Engineering team. As a crucial member of this team, you will be responsible for handling escalations, elevations, and customer-oriented interactions. Your expertise in scripting, Kubernetes (k8s), Linux systems, ElasticSearch and databases will be vital in resolving complex technical challenges and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

 

You are great at:

 

• Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including customer support, product management, and development to address customer escalations and implement long-term solutions.
• Proactively engage with customers to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and offer innovative solutions that meet their needs.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve the overall customer experience.
• Utilize your expertise in Kubernetes to design, deploy, and manage containerized applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems, including performance optimization, security enhancements, and system configurations.
• Perform database administration tasks such as installation, configuration, tuning, backup, and recovery for various database systems.

 

 

What it takes:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a Software Engineer or a similar role, with a focus on customer-oriented interactions and escalations handling.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate tasks and develop efficient solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) for container orchestration and management in production environments.
• Extensive experience with Linux  and Windows operating systems, including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of database systems such as Oracle, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL including administration.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes Certified Administrator, Linux Professional Institute Certification) would be a plus.
