Responsibilities
- Assist in evaluating, designing, building, bench testing, and debugging firmware for new high-performance controllers that increase performance, while reducing power, latency and SoC (System on Chip) complexity for Cloud servers.
- Develop high-performance controller firmware for innovative Cloud Side SoC controller systems.
- Work closely with system test engineers, system failure analysis engineers, firmware engineers, firmware test engineers, system hardware design engineers, product engineers, memory design engineers, firmware tool developers, and production engineers to solve cross functional product development issues.
- Perform unit tests and product testing and ensure the firmware quality.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
- Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle for the design, development, testing, and implementation of Linux systems software using C, C++, data structures, or algorithms;
- Performing low-level embedded system programming using PCIe and JEDEC peripheral protocols and specifications;
- Implementing C programming using embedded CPU architectures, including ARM, ARC, and RISC-V;
- Identifying, analyzing, and debugging system failures and internet protocols using system tools and protocol analyzers, including JTAG and emulator;
- Executing testing on firmware and performing system validation; and
- Using firmware developing platforms, including FPGA, ASIC, and Emulator, to develop, debug, and implement systems.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145000 - $250000 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
