Summary
This Electronics Technician position is located in Norfolk, Virginia. The selected candidate will perform corrective and preventative maintenance mechanical operation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and assessment in support of Maritime Special Operations Forces Support (MSOFS) Watercraft.
*This role is contingent upon being awarded the contract.
What You Will Do

Providing field service representatives to perform minor equipment modification, installation of equipment and maintenance of SOF equipment at the Echelon II level and below.

The types of specialized equipment to be supported include but is not limited to: Combatant Craft variants (CCA, CCH, CCM), Special Operations Craft-Riverine (SOC-R), Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs), Maritime Combatant Craft Aerial Delivery System, SEAL Delivery Vehicle and dry deck shelter, ground mobility vehicles and other tactical vehicles. Various dive equipment and weapons that are standard issued to NSW operators are also considered equipment

May train and provide instruction on the various equipment and/or platforms.

Perform corrective and preventative maintenance mechanical operation, troubleshooting, repair, and material assessment of all boat electrical systems and communications equipment to include but not limited to running lights, battery system, GENTEX communication boxes, UHF and VHF tactical communications equipment, Satellite communications (SATCOM), Alternators, Battery Isolators, Furuno radar displays and radome, relevant Communications systems, LINK 16.

May serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for problem resolution and liaison with Government.

Ensures contract deliverables are accurately and timely submitted.
What You Must Have

High School education, or Trade School or equivalent, and 6 years of related experience.

Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.

Must have a current, active DoD Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret Security clearance.

Must have at least three (3) consecutive years of experience repairing and troubleshooting boat electrical systems and communication equipment to include but not limited to: running lights, battery system, GENTEX communication boxes, UHF and VHF tactical communications equipment, Satellite communications (SATCOM), Alternators, Battery Isolators, Furuno radar displays and radome, relevant
