Spectrolab, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company’s Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) business unit has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Assembler (Level B) to join our dynamic team in Sylmar, California.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs simple production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, equipment and accessories using manual operations
• Complete knowledge of shop processes to include Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements.
• Understands wiring and gauges including basic knowledge of reading drawling's and schematics

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for various shifts (1st,  2nd, & 3rd). Candidates must be willing to work any shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Ability to read and interpret system prints and schematics
• Experience soldering and terminating wiring
• Capable of lifting 20lbs or more on a frequent basis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• More than 1 year of experience in wire stripping, soldering and welding
• Experience in J-STD-001 Soldering

Summary pay range: $50,150 – $67,850
