Responsibilities

Provides appropriate administration and coordination for Bariatric patients throughout the continuum of care. Offers support, education, and other assistance to ensure all program requirements are met. Provides consultation and expertise to ensure the course of care is coordinated, scheduled, and communicated through the program process to confirm all program participants are managed appropriately.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience
  • Associates degree in healthcare related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three years healthcare clinic or hospital experience to understand clinical practice, insurance management, and best practice healthcare initiatives. Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/-10 coding beneficial.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills, be detail-oriented and be able to demonstrate a professional demeanor
  • Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with a variety of people, including coworkers, patients, physicians and the public
