What You Will Do:
The East Hartford Repair Operations (EHRO) Materials Team is looking for a candidate willing to apply themselves and their talents to drive process improvements to ensure materials are planned and stocked according to shop demand. This person will be in a position that requires creative problem solving and process improvement acumen, along with exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate efficiency and collaboration. Must have the ability and ambition to identify critical process opportunities and proactively raise awareness to network with key stakeholders to see solutions executed & measure impacts. The candidate will provide escalation whenever necessary to meet improvement milestones, and drive project priorities with key stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
Lead process improvement projects using data analysis, CORE tools, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
Serve as primary liaison with key suppliers to drive workscope compliance and process improvements
Team Focal for facilitating and coordinating tooling order placement to support EHRO needs
Place orders for materials as needed
Qualifications You Must Have:
Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Project Management, Data Analysis, Engineering or Operations; OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Project Management, Data Analysis, Engineering or Operations
CORE Apprentice or Champion certification
APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
Project management experience and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma).
Experience with Solumina G8 MES, SAP ERP, Power BI and MS Office Suite.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and influence leadership, peers, and cross-functional teams
