Position Description:KPA is seeking a Web & Graphic Design Intern to help us design digital marketing materials, focusing on web and social media. You will participate in creating and editing deliverables used for websites, social media, and other digital mediums. Working within a larger marketing team, you will work to ensure consistency between your deliverables and other accompanying media.
The intern will be working on various projects with an emphasis on graphic design as well as web development. This internship is designed to help students learn how to use their creative skills while developing new ideas that will enhance brand awareness and increase sales.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Coursework or demonstrated interest in Web and Graphic Design
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to pursue a career in Digital Content Development or Graphic Design

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and design digital materials
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to the deadline
  • Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
  • Build WordPress pages based on provided mockup

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
  • Compelling portfolio of graphic design work
  • Experience with WordPress and WPBakery Page Builder

Additional Information:

  • This internship will require roughly 40 hours per week. It is expected to last until October 31, 2023, but the timeline may vary with the possibility of extending for the fall/winter term. Position may be flexible to go part-time due to school committments.
  • Pay range: $17-20 per hour. Must have access to a personal computer. The Intern will report to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Physical Requirements:

  • Working on a computer, typing, and viewing a screen - all of the time
  • Stationary sitting or standing - all of the time
  • Communicating verbally, hearing, and listening - most of the time
