Production Assistant

The City of Novi's Community Relations Department is seeking a creative, self-starter to join their Studio VI team as a part-time Production Assistant. As a Production Assistant, you will be responsible for developing pre-production outlines and scripts, producing channel content, preparing character generator messages, and producing shows for special occasions/events. The successful candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends up to 24 hours per week.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or working to obtain) in Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Television Broadcast or similar programs, experience in video production in a cable television setting, familiarity with equipment, programming and procedures, as well as a demonstrated ability to be enterprising in the production of programming. Salary range is $18-$23, based on qualifications
