Sr. Scala Engineer - PAM

What You Will Do:   

Collaborate with other talented Scala Devs to integrate our application with all required systems and services and provide clean and easy to use API for the front-end part of the system  

Design and develop the business logic and back-end systems of the product  

Decipher existing software systems and be able to hook in application to applicable data sources   

Hands on role as a player/coach where you will mentor junior and mid-level engineers to help expedite their professional development   

Remove roadblocks, teach/share best engineering practices, and help ensure delivery of our product roadmap  

What You Will Need:  

5+ years of software engineering experience with Scala, preferably within a high-growth product development organization   

Ability to teach, mentor, and develop engineers in the principles of functional programming   

Your language experience includes any of the following:  

Scala (most desired)  

Haskell  

OCaml  

Clojure  

F#  

Solid understanding of delivering high quality technical solutions in an Agile product development org  

Comfortable working with a wealth of autonomy in a flat organization while holding yourself and others accountable, championing a path forward, and knowing when to ask for advice  

Keen interest in developing backend solutions in the sports betting and iGaming industry.
