Get To Know The Team:
SS&C Technologies is seeking an experienced Database Replication Administrator to join our Data Replication and Db2 for z/OS Database Application Support team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data replication administration on both mainframe and open databases, preferably using IBM Infosphere Data Replication/Change Data Capture (IIDR/CDC) software. Experience working directly with application development teams, and troubleshooting/resolution of replication issues is also required. This position will require off-hours availability and 24 x 7 on-call rotations.

What You Will Get To Do:
- Design and develop database replication systems, processes and enhancements for company's complex high traffic, business critical mainframe and non-mainframe database systems.
- Lead the design of replication solutions to deliver data to our clients reporting, event management and other critical live data targets.
- Develop solutions and processes for reliable and stable data replication, using IBM's Infosphere Data Replication (IIDR) and Change Data Capture (CDC) technology
- Assist with the implementation of new or additional replication technology to improve infrastructure service locally and remotely.
- Lead small, moderately complex projects or working on complex tasks that require a high degree of judgement, resourcefulness, and self-initiative.
- Demonstrate specialized expertise to evaluate wide-ranging and complex issues and develop creative solutions.
- Recommend new procedures.
What You Will Bring:
- 5+ years of overall IT experience in mainframe and open database technologies, with 3+ years on IBM Infosphere Data Replication/CDC.
- Working knowledge of replication on Db2 for z/OS, Db2 LUW, Oracle, SQL Server, and cloud based database components and concepts
- Mastery of IBM Infosphere Data Replication on mainframe and non-mainframe systems.
- Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve database replication issues and assist applications teams with replication issues.
- Experience in evaluating, designing, and deploying high performance replication designs to support our application partners.
- Experience managing and migrating database replication change requests from client teams and to meet project deadlines or resolve support issues
- Ability to analyze, test, and recommend new database replication features, functionality, and products that can yield improvements for the application environment
- Ability to support replication tasks for database recoveries and support Disaster Recovery.
- Excellent communication skills, written and interpersonal using all communications technology platforms available.

- Experience with IBM IIDR/CDC tools Access Manager and Management Console
- Experience with IBM Db2 for z/OS Version 13.
