Description

What Will You Be Doing?
- Manage multiple projects of advanced complexity within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of a program.
- Coordinate, plan, and execute various program activities including the development, qualify, launch, maximize, and retirement phases of the product lifecycle.
- Document program activities including the development, collection, dissemination, and maintenance of program records and updates pertinent cross-functional and executive teams.
- Develop detailed project plans for managing the critical path and major milestones for product launches and/or complex product deployments.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of the solution into production.
- Serve as liaison and primary point of contact for internal cross functional program communications.
- Monitor and report project costs, status, and quality to stakeholders; escalate issues when necessary.
- Drive process and tool improvement efforts; assists in defining specialization areas for the team.
- Guides other team members, as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Needed for the Job:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.
- PMP or Six Sigma certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in a technical project management, program management, or product management role; industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple cross-functional programs, eliciting requirements, and participating in agile teams.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience with project management tools and methodologies, software development lifecycle, and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated proficient functional knowledge of procurement, accounts receivable, and project financials.
- Demonstrated success identifying and documenting risks, such as delays, roadblocks, and deviations from original plan.
- Experience leading people in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of the competitive landscape and ability to complete competitive analysis.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, tools, and Windows operating systems environments.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with the following tools/systems: version control, project management, and product lifecycle management.
