Position Overview:

Serve as the strategic partner to the Division President and CMO, aligning priorities, initiatives, and communications across the division. Oversee executive briefings, operational planning, and governance structures while leading administrative and program management teams for high performance and collaboration. Manage executive workflows, schedules, and deliverables; drive key initiatives; and ensure effective communication for leaders, staff, and clinicians. Act as a liaison, connect leadership across the foundation and medical groups, and translate data into actionable insights. Build processes that enable consistent execution and support strategic discussions on physician operations and clinical integration.

Job Description:

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner to the Division President and Division Chief Medical Officer, ensuring priorities, initiatives, and communications are aligned across the division.
  • Coordinate and prepare executive briefings, including division scorecards, performance dashboards, and monthly operational updates.
  • Drive the development and execution of the annual operations calendar, including operating rhythms, governance structures, and milestone tracking.
  • Lead and mentor the executive administrative and program management team, setting standards for high performance, proactive planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure seamless coordination of executive schedules, workflows, and deliverables to support optimal functioning of the division leadership team.
  • Act as the division’s primary point of contact for government affairs and community affairs teams, ensuring timely communication, alignment on legislative priorities, and coordination during emerging issues or key community partnerships.
  • Serve as the key connector for PAFMG/PAFMG leadership, MPMG/IPA leadership, and system medical group administration teams who need alignment and access to the division’s executive leaders.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions on physician operations, clinical initiatives, and integrated ambulatory/acute workflows.
  • Oversee division-wide communication efforts on behalf of the President and CMO, including messaging for leaders, staff, and clinicians.
  • Develop agendas, talking points, and slide decks for division town halls, leadership retreats, and milestone announcements.
  • Partner with system communications and analytics teams to gather and translate data into clear, actionable executive communications.
  • Lead or support high-priority division initiatives, ensuring teams have clear direction, owners, and accountability to meet deadlines.
  • Build operational processes that enable consistent performance across the division, including meeting preparation pathways, deep-dive structures, and pre-work templates.

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Bachelor's: Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field

Master's in healthcare or related field preferred

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 15 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Chief of Staff experience in Tech industry strongly preferred.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Demonstrated knowledge in areas of physician practice operations and financing and managed care business Prior experience in a managed care market required
  • Demonstrated record of developing highly effective working relationships with physicians.
  • Communication skills including oral, written and presentation.
  • Effective leadership skills and decision-making skills.
