Make a real difference in patients’ lives. DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician and Inventory Tech to provide hands-on dialysis care in a hospital setting. Locations:

• Parrish (Titusville), Melbourne, Longwood, Sebastian River, St. Lucie, Ft. Pierce, Daytona, Orlando
• Reliable transportation Required - Mileage paid

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver one-on-one dialysis care to patients with kidney disease
• Monitor and record vital signs, set up dialysis machines, and observe treatment
• Support patients physically and emotionally throughout their care
• Educate patients on dialysis-related topics
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

What You’ll Need:

• Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
• Comfort working with blood, needles, and medical equipment
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina for long shifts (up to 12+ hours)
• Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
• Previous healthcare experience a plus (CNA, MA, Phlebotomy, CHT, BONENT certified)

Requirements:

• CCHT Current License/certificate active

• Reliable transportation  and ability to drive coverage area from St. Lucie to Dayton, FL

• Ability to lift 50lbs

• Desire to enter the health care field to care for other people in need

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be comfortable working around blood and needles

• Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb

• Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet so wear comfortable shoes! Our work ends when it's safe for our patients.

• Willingness to train and work across multiple facilities within the territory as needed.

• Health care experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.

• This position also requires successful completion of the pre-employment color blind test, accommodation may be provided
