At Twilio, we support diversity, equity & inclusion wherever we do business. We employ thousands of Twilions worldwide, and we're looking for more builders, creators, and visionaries to help fuel our growth momentum.

About the job

Twilio is seeking a Senior Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion who will champion, promote, and continue to guide the Company’s inclusion strategy and diversity initiatives across our global footprint in a way that is unique and authentic to Twilio.  This leader will report to the VP of Talent Experience and DEI, will act as the face of DEI and partner with the entire Executive Team. This role is integral to the company, our culture, and the experience of each and every Twilion every day.

We are seeking someone with a passion for building a globally diverse workforce and inclusive culture, curated and proven influence and leadership skills dedicated to continually improving the organization. If you are a leader who believes deeply in building an inclusive environment, allowing employees from all backgrounds to contribute, grow and prosper, we’d love to hear from you.  As a senior leader, you must be a visible advocate and champion for our values, the Twilio Magic, helping build Twilio’s brand as an inclusive and diverse employer both internally and within the communities of our hubs. You must believe a diverse team, from the top down, allows all employees to achieve their full potential and as a result will allow Twilio to reach our goals, collectively.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving diversity programs, and can build positive relationships internally and externally to promote Twilio.  This is a crucial role, both to the company and leadership, to strengthen Twilio’s commitment to foster an open and diverse workplace.  We are committed to building a diverse population, with a healthy, vibrant culture, ultimately enabling every Twilion to do great work, build a phenomenal career and feel they belong at Twilio.
