Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond professionally to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to the public. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies at public transit facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from emergency services and/or designated personnel when appropriate.
• Monitor access points and public areas, address policy violations, and provide directions or assistance to members of the public.
• Document security-related incidents, patrol activity, and unusual conditions through accurate reports and timely communication with supervisors and designated government personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
