• To increase Donaldson market share in specific assigned regions and to identify key accounts and expand business to these customers
• To prepare and submit tender documents / quotations for customer or project proposals
• To ensure that specific, predetermined sales objectives are met on a monthly basis
• To provide overall technical support to the complete range of products
• To develop alternative markets through modifications and  improvements on both existing and new products
• Monitor and control distributor regions as assigned  in distributor agreements
• Utilise EAFM business tools such as Catalyst and CRM to improve market coverage
• Travel planning into Africa (Where applicable)
• Develop a best practise with distributor network to ensure consistancy across all areas of business

Job Requirements:

Matric

Technical qualification (Mechanical / Industrial Engineering) highly advantageous

Proven technical sales track record

Hydraulic knowledge will be advantageous

Experience in the mining industry would also be beneficial

Relevant experience of more than 5 years

Computer literacy

Excellent communication skills

Customer focused
