Procurement Associate (m/f/x)

The Opportunity:

Avantor is currently looking for a dedicated Procurement Associate to join our team in Vienna, Austria. Are you interested in working in an international dynamic environment? Then this might be the opportunity you are looking for!

This role will be a part-time position for 24 hours per week (3 full working days per week) with an opportunity for maintaning and keeping sustainable growth and funtioning of our business and facilities in Austria. The minimum salary aligned with our collective agreement is 1.450€ gross/month for this part time position (24 hours/week). The willingness to overpay is given, since the salary depends on the qualification and the working experience

What we're looking for

• Education: BS or BA Degree desirable
• Experience: experience in the field of procurement, logistics or facility management
• Good knowledge of Excel and SAP is a big advantage
• Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to details
• Good level of German and English, further European languages are an advantage

How you will thrive and create an impact 

• Managing all aspects of daily purchasing management
• Resolving all distribution center goods inwards queries with regards to deliveries/stock/purchase orders as appropriate
• Generating purchase orders and reviewing requisitions (technical and production)
• Resolving or escalating open PO service issues when necessary
• Coordinating with transport in conjuction with import and export shipments

• Providing maintenance support for both locations in Austria
• Administering the repairs for the Logistics & Service Center in the Zimbagasse 5, by requesting, comparing, ordering and completing it
• Administering the facility management topics
• Office supplies management
